Click hereIt seems always I’ve wandered this earth so damn hungry
Searching for something I could never quite taste
I was starving for love; needing someone to feed me
‘less loneliness consume me in emotional waste
One day I discovered a new world of such bounty;
fertilized by heart, touch tended with care
Its gravity gentle, it caressed that all about me;
embracing with arms I yearned to just once share
The atmosphere here is my soul’s one desire
I can breathe the pure air of breathless pure love
I’ll live off the land of these passions still growing
and soar to the peaks of Mt. Heaven above
Quelled now is my thirst by the Sea of Devotion;
waters true blue, fathom depths of dual trust
I will sleep ‘neath star oaths of adored all tomorrows;
bathe in sun sweat grinned rapture of love’s humid lust
There’ll be hunger no more for mere crumbs of a cold heart
In this world is my sustenance; a warm heart that’s whole, too
Now the orb I’ve discovered revolves all around me
With full love I’ll exist here on this... Planet You
A perfect poem describing so well my own--I mean OUR OWN--process of discovery as we discovered and shared our joy on Planet You. Terrie
Thanks for a piece that I can identify with so well. Trouble is, when offered two planets from which to choose, I landed on the wrong one and the right now is too far away. Can only wait now and hope that the other planet swings near me again one day. CP
And when you find it, it's such an amazing discovery, like discovering you're living in a tropical paradise while in the middle of Winter. Patricia
Exploring the universe for love when it's right here in my back yard!!! Speaking of my love---time to go take care of her!!!
The sweetness of love in all its variations; each time you fall it's like landing on a new planet and hopefully won't find you becoming a galactic explorer, never finding that tropical paradise. Emily
