Once I felt love
But where has it gone
Washed away by the rain
Or are they tears
Alone I stand in the world
Alone and afraid
But when you came the feeling vanished
And love returned
A warm feeling surrounds me
As I think of you
Longing to hold you
To make our dreams come true
To hold you in the night
A feeling of pure devotion
I love you
I believe I always have
I feel safe with you
Protected from the feeling of emptiness
