I looked into the mirror today, and what did I see
A reflection of a total stranger
Who is the person I have allowed myself to become
It definitely perplexed me

No longer could my defensive walls protect me
There's no one person I can hide behind
There's no hidden, secret door for me to escape through

The cold air sweeps across my entire body
Chilling me to my very core
Then without a warning, I hear your voice
It softly echoes through my head, something once you said to me

It was at that very moment I realized
I was always right about you
There's something special and no coincidence I met you

As fast as the fear was consuming me, just as it always did without failure
something that I truly believed in was making the darkness and fear fade
I knew now what I needed to do

Slowly and without my usual reservation
I turned back for one last look in the mirror
It was time to face the very things that haunt my soul
Face it head on I will
No longer could I deny the Reflection
That was ME
