Fingers
      float over
  undulations
        linger in your shadows.
                  I taste breathless
            whispers
as lips
            almost touch.

Eyelashes flutter
                  gentle breeze
                        across your cheek.
Skin not
            touching skin
      as each breath
                  becomes a wave -
rising,
    cresting
        breaking
rhythmic heart
            in silence, silence
                  until bodies
            scream.
Waves crash
            merge in boiling chaos
                        splashing moans
            then quiet, gentle light.

Kisses fade
            in the shimmer
                  of night
                        into reflections
            of the moon.
