Waiting under a moon lit sky
My mind enveloped in my fears
With traces of a crimson dye
Spilt for the names of lesser years

I close my eyes as I ponder
My mind aching from sores within
Hateful eyes for those found fonder
Indulging me like prideful sin

Be truth or lie, they are the same
What began and finished in me
The pungent boil of a name
This shadow often lets me see

So many paths to just one place
None of which will ever be known
Sight withdrawn in a blackend lace
As the desire gnaws my bone

Lay me down, my soul is no more
Shatter memories into dust
It is the doubt of my adore
For living love, rather then lust. ~
