A ficus grows
between the lights
and lithograph.
I know this.

Here in stillness,
waiting for your call,
a new leaf unfolds.

a plagiarized copy of slow minutes (plagiarized by H. L. in 2007) is possibly still online.

Your on a roll.

Brilliant. Short, sweet and incredibly sensual.

Nice.

This has an almost oriental feel to it. "[B]etween the lights / and lithograph" are good lines--descriptive, though not overly so. I don't so much care for the line "I know this", though, but, hey--just my opinion.<p>

Not you at your best, but not bad. I liked it.

I know

how minutes sometimes feel like hours and hours can become days. Time is a weird thing isn't it?

This is an excellent example of how waiting can feel.

Sometimes, like watching paint dry.

You do so much with so few words, you are such a wonderful poet.
