The padded feet of those who feel
step soft and quiet
through the dew of the day
upon harden earth forward always
seeking to feel once again

So many souls lost, dead of the cravings
ignoring the stroke of their hearts
suddenly a gasp erupts from the lips
awakened and soaring in Sogobia's sensuality
Once lost, now found, standing within a new start

A day's dawn and love is felt
overwhelming, powerful and obsessive
this new experience held in a mere feeling
nothing to fear but lost in the doubt
comfortable in past, thinking, clinging to the self

Feeling is the start to all that holds true
Love a gift to climb to new heights
To savor love is admirable but,
commitment breds growth
Denial fades when faced with this truth

Gold rings and stars on fingers
material examples of vows easily tossed
shadows of feelings short of the miracle
Devoiring oaths false in the spirit
Lessons abandoned when fear clings to self

True pledging of love lacks the rules
no rings or forevers need to be shared
Wrongs of the past dissolve into shadows
holding no power over tomorrow
Truth now held in the dawn of the WE.

Insightful

practicality denies sensuality,

maturity, youthful innocence;

the choices are simple -

death wins in the denial, or

life eternal in celebratory merging

.

An excellent offering du~

Brilliant

I really like this Du ~

I had to read it twice coz

there are just so many wonderful

thoughts in here

Gold rings and stars on fingers

material examples of vows easily tossed

shadows of feelings short of the miracle

Devoiring oaths false in the spirit

Lessons abandoned when fear clings to self

I really enjoyed reading this

Thanks,

~ Jenn
