Something sunny in the sky
What is that, a mile high?
Round and yellow, full of light
Oh, my god, are you alright?

I have fallen, can’t get up
     Whining like a wounded pup.
Looking at the shining ball
     I ran smack…into a wall.

I think I broke my goddamn nose
Maybe I should stick with prose.
This is not, as it is verse
But reading back, it could be worse.

At least it rhymes, although it’s dumb
I think my nose is going numb.
Cinderblock is hard as shit
And I just ran right into it.

Maybe I should watch my step
Instead of being such a schlep.
Oh, my god, now look at that
A little ant has caught a gnat.

I will follow where he goes
And take my mind off of my nose.
Watch him creeping with his bug
What a heavy load to lug.

Now I’m down on hands and knees
     Watching Anty, if you please.
Crawling on the patio,
How much farther will he go?

He disappears into a crack,
And I stand up, a sudden WHACK!
For now, you see, I’ve hit my head
And passed out in the flower bed.

People never stop to think
Where they put their fuchsias pink.
They should never hang their plants
Where people crawl and look at ants.

Wear a helmet with a face mask!

A cute little piece with just a few meter misses.

Drop an "and" and a "but" and see the meter Made.
