I somehow left my Patience out of the fridge.
It spoiled.
There was a rankness about it, a
One-day-to-late-again smell.
It was hopeless.
I've tried and tried to keep it, but
It is most definately spoilt
SO
From now on, I don't have time for stupid things
Or for wasted words
Just bring me the ones that count
Else they aren't getting heard
Oh, and if you want my
Attention, Compassion, Trust?
They're in the freezer
They have to thaw, so
Don't expect much there, either.
If you wish to buy some new stock, I welcome it.
It's been hard to make it through lunch, even, on the
supplies we have here.
Go shopping. Pick up some
Fairness, Equality...
Several pounds of Understanding
And a Bottle of Sweetness,
I'll make us a great dinner.
Perhaps we can go shopping together, afterwards.
But I'm not doing all the shopping from now on.
Not ever again
