Still is the night
The glow of the moon shines over the body of water
Ripples spread over the surface in a never-ending flow
Life continues in a constant stream
It does not matter that we dream
It does not matter that we wish
Life goes onward

Still is the night
The stars shine silently in their sockets
Blinking across the velvety blackness of the sky
Life continues in a relentless stream
It does not matter what we think
It does not matter what we feel
Life goes forward

Still is the night
Clouds drift silently over the body of the moon
Casting its ever changing shadows over the landscape
Life continues in a never-ending stream
It does not matter what we seek
It does not matter what we seem
Life goes advancing

Still is the night
The breeze disturbs the shrubs and the trees
Tickling my ears with the whispers of the leaves
Life continues in an irresistible stream
It does not matter what we care
It does not matter what we do
Life goes progressing
