There is a strange poetry to
The gentle art of submission
The surrender and trust
The giving of ones control
To another.

A poetry of actions, moans and sighs
And the body’s movement away
From the world and into a different
Space in time, a different
State of being.

Poetry of the soul, untethering
Of will and responsibility
The giving away of self
To fulfill the desire of
Someone stronger.

There must be love there somewhere
To give of ones self freely that
Which most fight to keep
Safe and locked away where
No one can harm it.

The act of unburdening the mind
And letting all fall on the shoulders
Of another is the greatest gift
One can give of themselves,
The possibility for hurt
Is endless.

The need to serve must be met with
The undying need to protect,
To cherish and enfold,
A give and take of the
Utmost magnitude.

Strange poetry of two beings
Wrapped up in each other
Both needing, all giving,
Until where one stops and the
Other starts is unclear,
symbiotic existence.

Strange poetry.

Unusual insight into the power dynamics between a Dom/Domme and sub. It's not as simple as it superficially appears. The best results will happen when the sub has strength yet yields to a Dom/Domme of similar strength.
