The Tainted Heart
By Tenchi Akira.

I’ve sacrificed so much already.
I have nothing left to give, so where is my reward.
I’ve worked so hard for thousands of years,
And I have nothing to show for it.
And I’ve loved my fellow man so long,
I don’t remember who I am.
The nights I wake up in a cold sweat,
I see my darkness spreading in me.
So far away from myself.
So far away from home,
Home in your arms,
Home in your heart.
I feel alive but I feel so dark
in this darkness that became of me.
How much of my life will
I be able to spend with you?
When I’m becoming like the evil that
sleeps in the darkness that lies within myself

You’ve given me my Identity
and I starting to lose that.
Losing it in the darkness of my mind.
I have to break this cure and
you’re the only one who can help me.

So far away from myself.
I’ve lost sight of who I am.
Just stay with me and I’m sure that
your love will cure my tainted heart.

much honesty

I like your poems because they are honest human emotions.
