She closes her eyes as lingering shudders soothe her to sleep
His voice yet again reaches a place never explored so deep
Trance like slumber consumes the night
Refreshed in the morning by the dawns early light

She carries those thoughts throughout her entire day
Her mind wanders forward to the next time they play
Such simple pleasures to cherish forever
Would I trade them for something else? No, never

I'm not sure he realizes just how much it means to me
His kindness, His support, His words help me see
Not always bright, sometimes very blue
I whisper to him sweetly.....thank you
