Am I done?
I was done before I even got here
Nameless sea of gyrating faces
With whom I have nothing in common

It smells like vomited alcohol
Years of abused carpet
Cleaned monthly
But still, horrifically odorific

The under 25 crowd
Intoxicated
By free running spirits
Recently new freedom
They'll do anything
As long as their parents once told them
Not to

I come with the intention of having fun
High energy leaks from my pores
Kidnapped, consumed by those
With power in their lungs

Am I done?
I was done before I got here
Next time I won't come
I'll stay warm
Comfortable
Flannel lined pajamas
And a book

Don't stay in!

Go on out and have some fun ... just take it easy on the liquid entertainment and you might remember who did what to ya last night. :-) Terrie
