I cut out your eyes
With the very dagger
You pierced between my shoulder blades
You smile a dark smile
As I begin my work
The sockets of my arms
Creak with months of constraint
The blood begins to drip
Between my fingers
As the fire begins to drip
From your lips;
You touch my cheeck for a final time
Leaving deep red stains
Your hand falls to the bed
And my crushed spirit
Falls to the floor;
My hair falls before my face
This I have endured
Because of what I have taken from you
