Retracting the memories that hurt up until now
These things soothe the storm that was mine

My existence has a clear purpose
You have confirmed this with a simple smile
Broken promises but a fading memory in my mind
The rumble of the storm has passed away
And I can see the hint of the rainbow peeking through my clouds

Comfort lies in my expelled breath
The one I have been holding for ages
And it is soothing like the tidal waves roll
