The darkness calls to me
Through raging rains and storms
To return to its fearsome arms
Succumbing to its relentless charms

In this wind of confusion
I am disillusioned
The darkness clouds my eyes
With all its empty promises and lies

Alone in this catatonic state
As I await my uncertain fate
The darkness will own me
For it lingers around to claim me

Anguished, tormented and broken
The banshee screams of the forsaken
Echoes straight into my soul
Like a dreaded prophesy foretold

The darkness calls to me
Through raging rains and storms
To return to it fearsome arms
I am afraid - for my life, my destiny and my fate.
