The first time we met I just knew,
That my life would change, because of you,
My heart was such a lonely place,
Yet the look in your eyes and the smile on your face,
I asked if you would like a drink,
Then in your presents I let myself sink,
It only took a short while for me to fall,
Sadly it took longer for me to make the call,
It was then with heart aglow,
I knew that I loved you so,
Our love grew and you’re now my wife,
All emptiness now gone from my once lonely life,
You fill my days,
With your love and in many other ways,
Now it’s to you I give my love and heart,
Wherever you are or when we are apart.
