quickchange chameleon,
he is all and nothing
in mercury motion.
He is jack of no trade
with so much potential,
an unsprung mousetrap
perched on the stairs.
Content in his Eden,
where serpent is banished
but lays coiled and waiting
for Eve and that apple.
He's not brave, but fearless,
yet doubt gnaws belly deep,
chews meaty bones and
sucks out the marrow.
A wonderful leashless metaphor that allows the reader to find their own meaning. Excellent poetry!
what a fine poem to have on top of the list / today, i read bottom to top because it's to cover everything, so i'm getting to this late / keep up the good work /

"an unsprung mousetrap
perched on the stairs"
This fool thanks you.
this alot.

sucks out the marrow. ~
