Getting off the airplane
yes, it was a Max
across the first-class isle
I’m reporting just the facts,
She was dressed in orange
blonde hair, cut short
wearing black stockings
and a rather short skirt,

Pulled up to the gate
seatbelt light chimed off
crowded close together
her perfume scent so soft,
Her back pressed toward me
I was looking at her neck
just inches from my lips
easy to inspect,

I took a deep breath
my hands to myself
but all the while thinking
the privilege of wealth,
A piece of art before me
the contour of her spine
when the door finally opened
and we all got in line,

Two steps in front of me
watched her short skirt sway
tried to think of something
not foolish, to say,
Quickly down the concourse
rushing to bag claim
when a guy in a uniform
called out her name,

He was there waiting
with his pilot shirt and hat
he kissed her on the lips
and gave her butt a pat,
So, I headed to my Uber
with a smile on my face
I love to watch people
as they run the Human Race,
