The Light Does not
Comfort me,
When I feel cold.
The Light does not
Accompany me,
When I feel alone.
The Light is real,
But why does It not shine
In my eyes?
Why won’t It let me see
Its love?
The Light is in everything
They say,
Therefore The Light
Is submerged in darkness,
It resides in sin,
In the darkest places,
Of within.
The Light teases,
The willing skin,
The Light Kisses,
The aroused senses.
But am I emotionless
To not feel
How The Light trusts
Upon me?
I see the others,
As they embrace The Light,
Curled up,
Supported
By the floor.
I wonder how
They feel they should?
Where did their reciprocation
Of The Light’s love
Initiate?
The Light does not force,
But The Light is there.
The Light is wrong.
I can’t love that light.
It destroyed so much,
So many,
So quickly.
It shoved me into the darkness,
That It refuses to haunt.
The darkness that,
Envelopes those who are lost,
And traps them tight.
They secretly wish for The Light,
To save them,
Somewhere deep down,
They know they wronged,
But they cant see The Light,
And therefore don’t believe in It.
The light does not
love me,
As that lone faithful says,
It scars
And taints me,
Punishes and restrains me.
The others,
Ask me,
Why do I not open my eyes?
I fear being blinded,
By The Light's holy lies.

Black void!

Light shining ~ is it even a light - or a deception ~ with faith the evidence of things not seen ~ can we see the light...

Perhaps not as mystical as the first; more of a skeptical tone here, questioning 'The Light.' A metphorical look at religion, faith and belief perhaps?
