I dance with hollow men
driving taxis in muddy haze
hustlin' tips'n fares
breaking traffic lights to thorazine
buzzing treetop low wopwop wopwop
rotors slicin'air slow men catching shrapnel
slower men catching hell
easing yellow through Dallas plains
and doing the shuffle
slow tempo to the 'zine
trapped in winter back in Maine
can't see the Dallas sun
shooting dice and snapping cards
shuffle slow boys shuffle slow
bus them tables for a buck
hustlin'tips like some gook chick
back at the Gin Screw
slow dancing with the fares
'til you get hard and wet
and your cock sticks to khaki
like some bloodstain
I see'em all in winter sun
frozen deadlike in the clouds
and all the men dance slowly
hustle tables for a buck
got two hearts and a silver star
before my woman left me
dancing with horses in the snow
jukebox blaring wopwop wopwop
rotors slicin'air
doing the shuffle back at Togus
flying checkered yellow through the sky
