The Melody

She felt the fingertip touches before
when she first fell in love. Her flesh,
alive and greedily taking it all from him.
Burning his flesh with her hot embers.
Her moans and his a language all their
own. Responding with a caress, a stroke,
waiting. At the edge of total abandonment,
and so much wanting to let go. But not just
yet, the desire so great as they dance.
Another kiss, he is so deep within her,
and she surrounds him. And now in unison,
they finally let go and let their music play
in a melody all of their own.
