Her name is Misery and she stands on a shelf
Surrounded by her friends she is dusty and unused
She wonders if she will ever be touched again
She realizes she has forgotten what it is like to be stroked
A client walks by and doesn’t even glance at her.
If she could pout she would, if she could cry she would.
But she is only a novel, a forgotten piece of literature
In the world of technology.
