This is for the one whose smile makes my nerves tingle
Who when she speaks makes my bells jingle
Whose innocuous presence makes a dove fly
Whose look in her eyes makes my tears dry

The one who is fresher than the ocean breeze
The one who is swiller than the billowing trees
This is for the one that I sorely miss
The only one who made me feel as good as this.

The one who makes me feel well in my ill-health
Truly this is the best I've ever felt.
It feels like the flame from a fire
which burns away all my earthly desires

I am far away with my mind at sea
All I do is stare at the stars and think of thee
vile blood in my veins flow through me
but the thought of you truly makes me free.

Even as we are apart I feel her so near
Her sensuous voice speaking in my ear
She makes all my frowns smiles
And makes my inches go for miles.

If I die today I will have words unsaid, feelings unexpressed
A lot of pressure not taken off my chest
This is for the one I think is the best
She stands out of the crowd and is unlike the rest.
