Understood by quarters, know by halves
We give but a part of ourselves

A bit of the whole, a piece or a part
A fraction really

Practicing a strange rithmatic.
The sums of us reduced to parts

We subtract rather than add

Leaving with less then we arrive
Always striving to learn
The sublime art of addition

But addition it would seem
Is strangely difficult
With fractions

There is a nice idea here

but it doesn't feel totally worked out. I really liked the thoughts and I wanted you to take it up a level. Does that make sense?
