The Toy

All the parts moving –
For him they move
But moved not by him;
Another will moves them
And this other will moving the parts
Is the very most fabulous part.

True, he plays a part
In the moving of parts
By moving his will
On the will of the other;
He does it with skill
(Ah, that other part!)
The part he learns still
Is clearing the heart.
