I built a wall around myself
So no one could get in
I had to shut out all the pain
That life kept throwing me
I grew inside my growing wall
And so I did not get hurt
But now life is trying to help
And send you to me
But you can’t get inside my wall
And I can’t break it down
If you look really hard
And take your time
You will a tiny flaw
Take that flaw and stretch it
Until my wall falls down
Only you can do it now
For I’ve forgotten how
Please show me that you really care
By crashing down my wall
And when I’m finally free
Just tell me that you’re here
Don’t break my wall
If you are going to hurt me
But if you want to love me
You have to find the flaw
