This is a perfect day
to while away the hours
to spend the day together
amidst the stormy weather.
we could lie in here in bed
and play with each other

we could listen to the thunder
we could use the barn as shelter
a blanket on the hay
we could snuggle up all day.
we can watch the lightning strike
and hold each other close
