Here are words to help me wish
for what I want upon my dish
Some Baklava and Junior Mints
Some Cherry Sours to make me wince
Lady Fingers, Mountain Dew
spaghetti and some Steel Bars, too
Chewy Sweet Tarts, Rainblow Gum
shrimp cocktail and a salad - yum!
Wacky Wafers, Diet Sprite
Filet Mignon warmed up just right
Biscotti and some hot French bread
a bagel bigger than your head
beef jerky and some Frito Pie
turkey breast on wheat or rye
Mashed potatoes, gravy too
Frozen yogurt and brownie goo
And now I hear my stomach yell
for Albertsons’ or Taco Bell
but, alas, though my belly dreams
