My God in the heavens above -
You are showing the world my pain,
the tears that I’ve shed for my love
are now falling in frantic rains.
I want him so badly I cannot speak his name.
The blackness of the storm makes it the darkest night -
and he walks away to sit in the stillness of the eye.
Only one thing could he say now to make it right,
and those three words would be a lie.
Lord, show Your anger in the turbulent sky.
With each storm let him reminisce
and hear my name in the thunder,
may the memory of my soft kiss
make him weak and bring him under.
