Time and space
come face-to-face
late at night
on some flight
between there and here,
I'm half asleep
and half awake
my third glass of wine,
You said to give
you a call
when I land
no matter what the time,

Instead I knock
on your window
with a bottle of your favorite wine,
You're wearing nothing
but a smile
and you say
"it's about fucking time..."
