Two hearts beating, separately, lost
in the confusion of what is real, what is not
wanting all, what cannot be attained
filling the void, easing the pain
Two lives lived, separately, aimlessly
lusting, loving any who want, shamelessly
aching, for that one, that One to complete
past mistakes, not wishing to repeat
two souls, wandering this world, alone
not able to cross over, sins to atone
lifetimes go by, still they roam
no one to cling to, no place that is home
two people meeting, a woman, a man
exchanging thoughts, friendship the plan
kindle the respect, soon love's embers glow
the passion igintes, the flames how they grow
two become one, One becomes healed
finally the divine intention revealed
living a lifetime helping others to see
God's wondrous love, can happen to me
two angels, watching down from on high
finally we made it, finally we fly
over the heavens, resting amongst the stars
