I.
Under the magnolia
voluptuous with summer
seeking a bed of leaves
and fragrant white
each open to the possibilities
of moment to moment
filled with desire
find me there
naked under the trees

II.
Contact
hesitant at first
seeking familiarity
on foreign terrain
making memories
with tongue and palms
tracing passions
in long lines of release
I raise my eyes
now filled with tears
so deeply
You touched me

III.
look on one
who flourishes
in Your approval
as the lotus
clean and unsullied
emerges white
from the mud of the past
into the sunlight of today
my breath upon Your feet
warming each step You take
Your breath in my mouth
consuming my words
