Vampire’s Puppet
Darkness settles, the blood red sun leaves without a second thought
The vampire calls to the soul within, drawing my flesh closer
Black rings curve gently around my empty eyes
Dead? Yes dead inside, I’m just a ghost
No life left he sinks the fangs deep into my inviting neck
Taking the warm energy that flows into his veins, away from mine
No need, I DON’T WANT IT!
Tearing away I fall onto the comforting ground
Love? So the vampire says; no love, loneliness
I hide enveloped in nothingness: no noise, no life, no light
I am nothing that is what he tells me
A puppet upon his hand
He alone can bring eternity, that is what I know
BUT NO! Everything leaves me lonely, unloved, dead as the leaves on which I lay
