Encased within
this visceral cage,
the spark
laments its bondage.
It yearns to unbind
its
freedoms
wings.
To soar skyward
from the deep dismal
mire.
And begin
its rightful life,
to be over-come
with loves fiery sin.
Restless in its cage
the spark’s yearning
grows bright.
Passions blinding,
it’s light…………explodes
burning steel melting wood
searing skin.
The sun leaves
its ravaged cage
in search of another,
brilliant burning beacon
so that once found
they might
yet bathe
within
each others
liquid light.
