I sit and wait
     Worry day night
     Anxiety and tension grows
     Nothing I can do (but wait)
     How long, I do not know

I wish I could
     I wish I'm there
     To help her through
     Help her when she stumbles
     Pick her up when she falls

But I can't
     I can only sit and wait
     She'll come back to me
     I just hope and pray
     That she'll come back in one piece
