this never-ceasing argument
we never seem to talk
all we do is fight
why are we like this?
it wasn't always this way
once we were the greatest
the best of friends
when we talked on the phone,
I knew the sound of your smile
but now when we talk,
all I know is bitterness
bitter friendship
bitter words
are all there is
once I heard people say that
time changes
and that best friends,
become strangers
but not us,
I thought,
never us
we're to close
that can't happen
but now I watch
as the words I once scorned
turn in to our friendship
but it's not a friendship anymore
now,I don't know what it is
I know it's something
but a mystery to me
I know you know,
but why won't you tell me?
are you scared to say?
scared that the words
will render us unfixable?
whats the worst that can happen
the fight will cease?
but might the us go with it?
I think thats what your scared of
