I live my life by words you see
Spoken
Written
Thought beheld
Whispered passion
Screaming anger
Pained
In joyous splendor
In times of smiles
Sweet words bring bliss
Bless
Praise
Lift up the spirit
Condemnation so pure
Despair
Forlorn
Sadness wreaked
Muttered blubberings
Through tears and mindless babble
Sticks and stones the old adage holds
But words will never hurt me
Arousal strong
Heightened
Stretched so thin
Brought up through a hiss
And crashed down
Crushed beneath the heated erotic prose
From lips so blind, rent careless syllables
The knifepoint sharp
The wound so clean
And death becomes what life once was
Mere…words
