You saw beyond my flaws
You saw the worst and best of me
You saw my broken heart
You saw the light in the cracks of my soul
You saw the reason behind the broken child I was
You saw what shaped me into the woman I became
You saw the scars on my skin and my heart
You saw me smile and you saw me cry
You saw my hopes
You saw my every fear
You saw a strength in me I didn't know I had
You saw something in me I failed to see
You saw me for all of who I am
And when you saw it
You showed it to me
You became the mirror
In which I saw myself
You became the eyes
I wanted to see the world through
Now let me show you
What I see when I look at you
