He was rubbing her tummy, tickling the nape of her neck, and trying to figure out a way to lean close enough to kiss her, "We'll need to know all those dances if we become members of the country club."

She stopped kissing his stomach, "We can't afford that."

He did manage to lean far enough. He whispered into her mouth as he kissed her, "Of course we can. I know what it costs. I might even take up golf."

Maureen eyes perked up, "I'm good at golf."

"There," he said, you've got double work; teaching me golf, and how to do all the dances."

Maureen turned her head a little, "Cal I have a confession to make."

He figured that, "Oh really? What?"

"I only want to take you to the country club to show everybody up. I want to show you off. I mean I want them to see you with me and get jealous."

He kissed her again, "Good, they'll see me and really get jealous because I'll have you."

She giggled, "You are such a jackass."

He kissed her again, and then again, "But I'm your jackass; your jackass forever and ever."

She leaned up, it hurt her behind a little but she still managed it, "That's right! You're mine and don't you forget it!"

She nestled in a little tighter, "You hungry?"

He held her tight and close, "No I want to make love."

She whispered, "Come on let's go to bed."

He got up first, picked her up, and started carrying her into the bedroom. He thought to himself how much he liked carrying her, how much he liked having her in his arms, how he felt like she needed to be protected and coddled because she was so delicate. He thought that, and as he thought, it was like some voice was whispering something in his mind's ear, something about that being his job. It was that damn déjà vu thing again.

He carried her to the bed and laid her down. She did look delicate, fragile, even helpless a little. He noticed her scars, those long striated white lines. She was so perfect; his perfect person, definitely someone who needed protection. She needed to be pampered and spoiled all the time. He was glad he was there to do it.

"I love you,' he whispered.

She replied, "You're my prince, my Prince Cal."

He tensed. He thought where did that come from? He'd heard that before! What's going on?

Cal's personality

He just went to full wife beater. You had him being fuxking Mr Rogers to him knowing it's a joke and full on meaning to hurt her. Sorry man you're a great writer but I can't continue the story, I'll try another one

Lost track

Where did the dog and Mom go? Seemed to have lost them for the day.

Secrets For No Reason

She can tell that he’s starting to remember – why doesn’t she just tell him like she was told?

“You don't understand all of it yet, but I do."

So tell him!

response to anonymous

To anonymous. I'm sure you'll never read this but; Cal and Maureen are very young, they both have troubled pasts, and they both are still searching. They're searching for their identities, searching for some constancy, and they're searching for that special someone. Cal's no wrist cutter; he's just insecure, uncertain. These two young people are going through some tough times, making some tough discoveries. I was a kid once and remember it well. I've been getting to watch my kids now too. Heck, my oldest daughter wanted to take a semester off from college, so she ran off and got married. A year later she was divorced and back in school. Go figure? Life is trial and error. Maureen locked Cal out on a whim. He spanked her on a whim. Cut the kids some slack. Oh by the way. I need your comments, I love reading comments; but please why are all negatives sent by the same person. I wish old anonymous would identify his or herself. carvohi

hard to read

You're all over the place with the interaction between Cal and maureen, it seems so fake and forced. I just don't understand why she acts the way she does around cal, one second she's hot the next she's an emotional mess who locks him outside naked for no reason. This story is jumping all over the place with maureen's hot and cold attitude and cals constant wristcutting personality ruining the romance. They've passed the hardest part yet them seem to be more stangers who fuck then long lost loves. I enjoy this series but feel you've fallen away from the greet writing and plot of earlier chapters to just put out chapters.
