One of the Best

One of the best stories and it truly belongs in Loving Wives. There are many reasons to marry someone; love, lust, greed, loneliness, or insecurity. Often those reasons fade with time but sometimes the reason expands and the commitment strengthens. This time the wife had one “plan” in mind but her love increased and moved past her mother’s control.

Touching and thought-provoking

An unusual and touching tale of a woman overcoming her conditioning and doing what she knows to be right. A little tongue in cheek to start with but it delivers a more thought-provoking message in the end.

Some of the extreme woman hating comments baffle me completely. She overcame the brainwashing by her bitter mother, confessed to her husband and gave him the option of leaving if he wanted. What more could she be expected to do?

I suppose I should just accept that for some readers the woman will always be in the wrong and the man, no matter how appalling his behaviour might be, will always be the innocent victim of her womanly ways. Sad and very depressing.

Good story. My deepest sympathies for your loss.

Remarkable . . .

It's been quite a while since this story was posted, but it's probably never too late to offer condolences for your loss.

That the story is still drawing such conflicting responses tells me that it really struck a chord with many readers, though obviously not the SAME chord.

I found it touching and gratifying that Katey was able to overcome her negative "Programming" from her childhood to realize what she really had with her husband.

It's amazing the things that are the norm in some families. It should be required that you have a license to have children.

PowersworderPowersworderalmost 6 years ago

It was interesting to read the comments on this one. Katey might have gone into the marriage with nefarious goals, but ultimately she fell in love with her husband and cast aside everything she believed in to stay with him (the Plan).

Why would you want to kick out the woman you had loved up until that point, when she just told you that she'd be faithfully yours for the rest of her life? After already being married for 5 years, that kind of declaration was more sincere and heartfelt than a wedding vow.

Perhaps I've just got a soft spot for reformed femme fatales!

Terrible!

Me, I'd of given her, her "exit strategy". I'd of started the divorce process as-soon-as I could. To hell with her mumbo jumbo and her friggin family's plans to marry, divorce, and get rich schemes.

womanipulation

That would sort of have me wondering if that very conversation was part of the plan, a different plan, or something else I just forgot. The only way to not be manipulated is to do whatever you think is right, whether or not it falls into somebody's plan.

The fact that she started doing the plan is a very grave sign for trust and loyalty. And holding his cock hostage and other language she used leads me to believe that the wife should be space trash. I wouldn't open the airlock without further evidence, but I'd memorize the path there for sure.

Good story, really gets the woman hate going.

I'm sorry but I got to rip on the commenters here that cannot see this is a story of fiction. Yes, a disgusting fiction, but maybe not so much remember the Gabor sisters (dating myself) today its the bimbo Kardashian's tribe?

I think this story is of redemption and learning what LOVE is all about and her new found priority of life and husband. I do say the jump of 62yrs to an end with cancer was a shocker, but effective.

I cannot fathom the depths of anguish of having your child die. We are to die before our children - plain and simple!!! I'm still humbled and have had a the few guys die in my arms in Vietnam - memories still tear me up. We were so damn young to be wasted. But no where near the same as if it's you own child. Hooyay - salute...

Well, well.

It's nice to know that,

even though being a reader

here for some time, one

can still find good strong stories

to read.

First: My condolences.

Second: The wife grabbing

his cock is condescending.

Just imagine a husband grabbing

his wife's nipples, before

telling her something important.

Foul one against the wife.

Foul two is "the plan".

Now she has opened a crack in

any normal husband's trust.

This marriage has the strength

and polyfilla to mend this crack.

The wife only has to legally sign

over all their properties to the husband

for the next five years.

That's how she regains his trust.

Third: I don't see this story quite

deserving top ratings, but

don't have the heart to drag down

it's average.

So no ratings from me.

Thanks writer for a most interesting story!

lack of understanding of "fiction"

When I read comments on this story, or pretty much any other on this site -- I am astounded at the number of people that fail to understand the meaning of the word "fiction".

Nor distinguish "fiction" from "reality".

I'd of gotten out of bed, packed a suitcase or two, left the house, gone to a motel until the banks opened, did the financial thing, quit my job, and then left for another part of country or a different country altogether. She can have her "PLAN" and stick it up her ass sideways. Don't care if wasn't going to follow it through or not. She started out marring me under false pretenses. Screw her!

Mom's influence in the lives of her daughters with "The Plan" hurt many people and destroyed what other wise would have been happy marriages! Mom should have to pay and pay dearly!

This Is Truly A Romance

There was no cheating, and Katey woke up to reality just in time to keep from destroying her marriage and her life.

I read this story several months ago, and it has been well worth the second trip! The ending brought tears to my eyes, as did your dedication to your daughter, Tracy.

Thanks!

All Your Fault.

"It's all your damn fault. According to the timetable, 'The Plan' should be in full effect. We should in divorce court right now with me being on my way to a somewhat prosperous single lifestyle. I also should be on the lookout for husband number 2".

Stop Right There! End Of Story. End Of Our Marriage, My Love For You, My Trust In You, My Respect For You.

She lied when she said her marriage vows, she lied for years there after. Does ANYONE really believe they can trust her veracity NOW?

This isn't even RAAC bullshit, it's worse. Just written garbage and it stinks just like that pile of shit she sold the brain dead husband.

As for her "holding" my penis... well a good hard punch in the face would put an end to that shit!

And the touching ending...lame author trying to justify his fantasy. Just More Bullshit!

Except with her hand on my most sensitive areas? With her threatening me with physical harm? The one thing different would have been a hand around her throat as long as she had a hold of my "fishing rod and reel." lol

Mixed Emotions

I have a bit of mixed emotions. She's very lucky that he has such a deep love for her, otherwise her just HAVING the plan, even if she didn't go through with it, would have caused a lesser man to run off screaming. What if the second sister DIDN'T tell her about her regrets?

And she's been out in the real world for over five years now, and she's only NOW realizing that the world doesn't work that way?

I suppose we have to allow for SOME suspension of disbelief, but this story was written in 2012, therefore they were marries in 1950, this conversation took place in 1955. Her mother's been executing the plan for around 35 years (7 husbands, 5 years each), puts us back to 1920. I don't believe that divorce laws were so liberal then that a woman could just up and divorce her husband and walk away with half the assets.

Love This Story!!!

I don't know what's wrong with some people... honestly! If you have any ability to love another person, then you should recognize that this is a wonderful love story, sweet and heart-warming!!!

It's touchingly written and refutes the attitude of unfortunately too many women who view marriage as a way to climb the latter to wealth. Haven't any of you heard the term starter-husband/marriage? This is a touching way to refute that erroneous viewpoint and show that love and happiness are FAR more important then acquiring wealth and riches!!!

I'm a heterosexual male in his mid-50s who still believes in love and romance, even if my own wife gave up on me 18 years ago...

Thanh You!

If you made this story up you captured a lot my feelings about the loss of a loved one, Knowing there's nothing you can do but, let go.

I was selfish at first for a while and wanted to keep her with me as long as I could.

I saw how much pain she in and at the same her trying it hide from us. I knew we could no longer allow her to suffer quitely in pain trying to protect us.

She fought and stayed with us as long as possible through her pain.

In the end Cancer was too big to overcome and It was better for her not to worry about us and made her feel better that she could go and we would be okay. her pain was too strong and she didn't have to hide her worry about us. We would be able to keep moving forward. I had to let her know she had nothing to worry about and it would okay for her to go.

The next morning after breakfast she gave me a kiss and smiled and stopped breathing.

She was gone and went away with a smile. That same morning when we woke up she was once again was the person I met over thirty years ago.

That was all I needed and that smile will stay with me forever.

Excellent story

It's heartwarming to see someone growing up and learning that you have to stand on your own two feet and NOT suffer the sins of those who came before. Her mother's sins are her own - it's just too bad that she infected one of her daughters severely and the other slightly before the third was able to shake the shackles completely.

Fraud and Hypocrisy = 1 Star.

Simple truth here. She committed fraud by marrying him under false pretenses. That's fraud. An annulment and charges of fraud should have been his immediate answer to her "confession". As for her grabbing his penis... a quick vicious punch to her solar plexus would have freed him of that sexual assault without leaving any evidence.

I hate lairs almost as much as hypocrites, she was both!

Just My Opinion, YMMV

@davoo For the next generation men.

1. Secret bank and other deposits before and during the marriage.

2. If it may be in that country before marriage preanuptial.

3. To start any marriage over 35 years old.

4. To marry such woman who wants minimum 2 kids at once after the wedding.

without kids 70% of the women will cheat.

In the USA survays show the 25-30 years old men begin to avoid the marriage active and they say the next.

1. The high wife cheating gives high % bastard kids and only 6 states are in the USA where the ex husbands can start their life without children support for bastards. This generation is afraid from bastards.

2. The husband role is showed in negative view in the media from TV serials to movies from Magazins to websites . Literotica is the part of this media.............

3. The husband role has negative effect on the job career.............

The husband rate decreased in the 25-30 years old men in the USA! Earlier the men tried to avoid the marriage but this was passive and now this became into active.

Do women really scheme so much?

I'm convinced my ex wife adopted a similar plan having taken advice from a lesbian friend. After a 20 year relationship where I provided every material benefit she ever asked for and I pandered to her bizarre sexual appetite and I loved her dearly. She changed overnight becoming objectional and uncommunicative. I was planning my retirement as my health was deteriorating and my job ceased to stimulate me - we had planned to build a guesthouse on an exotic island where she owned some land. As this plan was about to take off, my wife changed her mind preferring to serve an intervention of order on me forcing me to leave my house (an extremely simple process that many women in Australia follow). So I had to live without my wife and my emotionally stressed son on a promise we would reunite within a year (when my wife had sorted out her own emotional problems). A year later she served me with divorce papers. After a years separation it was just a matter of filing. She announced she no longer loved me she was seeing someone else. Part of the plan was for my ex wife to keep the house and a large chunk of my superannuation investments. She then applied for child support but my son realised what had happened and he asked to live with me. This is the Plan for a lot of women in Australia who seek to abandon their husbands for another partner and where the crazy divorce laws support this course of action.

She is now renting her home and building her guest house with her lesbian friend financed by my super fund. At least I have my son and the respect of my friends.

@Anonymous 10/28/14 Good Story....Until the PLAN!

I agree completely. Wife went into the marriage under false pretenses and with malice aforethought. The marriage was a farce and just because she recanted her earlier intentions it does NOT absolve her of her original malicious intent. Indeed, what's to say she won't change her mind yet again when things aren't all perfect and roses? After all, she's just a whore at heart, sleeping with and marrying a man solely for monetary gain.

All the RAAC, bleeding heart, "I'm in touch with my inner femininity" types will of course love this story. I'm sure they're enamored with the "Life Time" channel movies as well.

Touching

Someone called it. Sweet, someone else said. More like Touched, as in; Are you?

I'm going to come to you house, and murder you, while you sleep. Then, I'm going to sell your children into slavery. I've been planning it, for YEARS. Right down to the last details, like wearing gloves, no witnesses, etc. I even have a shallow grave picked out for you!

Oh wait! I just read an article in the paper, about a murderer, and how he went to prison. I don't like how it turned out for him, so I've changed my mind. I won't kill you.

There! NOW you can trust me! Why would you cross the street if we meet? I just told you, I won't kill you, or your kids. Not because you convinced me otherwise, or it's the right thing to do, but simply because I don't like the alternative.

Touching, isn't it? Sweet, aren't I?

What, exactly, was the difference here?

A Lot of Sick Women

There are a lot of sick, angry women out there. While it is wrong for a man to use a woman for sex under false pretenses, some women use men for marriage, and a source of income through spousal maintenance and child support! I have met more than a few that actually admitted that they never loved their ex husbands, they married for money with the knowledge that if things went bad, they'd get a nice pay off. Of course, this strategy works best if there is a lot of money involved, but they will also take a middle class man and bleed him dry for child support. There are many ways to betray your marriage vows other than cheating.

Hmmm... have to do a mathematical approach for this one.

I'm not meaning doing math but rather using the concept of "Given:" and "Assumption:"...

Given: since her mother's daughters all have different fathers, "the Plan" was in effect before she wad born.

Given: her mother would have indoctrinated her in "the Plan" her whole life.

Given: "the Plan" relates to the end game, not the beginning.

Given: she had to feel positive emotions for her husband before she married him so that she could at least STAND to live with him for five years.

Given: she would be required to throw away her positive emotions to follow "the Pan".

Assumption: the positive emotion she felt for her husband when she married him was love.

Assumption: she loved him more than she cared about "the Plan".

Proof: she tells him about "the Plan", thereby allowing him to divorce her without FOLLOWING "the Plan", thereby negating "the Plan".

Proof: SHE intends to stay married to him, thereby negating "the Plan".

If marrying someone without intending to divorce them means next to (if not actually) nothing when you actually DO divorce them... Why isn't it accurate to say marrying someone INTENDING to divorce them means next to (if not actually) nothing when you actually decide NOT to divorce them...?

I liked the premise here... good story...

I should point out though... barring a death grip like hold on a guy's cock getting your cock free isn't really difficult or very painful. OTOH, grabbing (even reasonably lightly) the BALLS... that'll really get you some attention... ouch.

The story is so well told and written, i for one hate the cunt, why? because she told him the almost whole truth, your wife tells you she was going to sell your kids and cripple you for life, then changes her mind, and this is romantic or thoughtful ? she did not follow through.....so what, your whole life is a lie now, everything you thought was love was hate and a secret plan to destroy you, no sane man would stay, you might, but the rest of mankind couldn't, so yes hahaha she died, and a cunt like her deserves pain and suffering, why because his life is forever changed..doubt will always be there, kids his? will she leave if we fight, can i trust anyone of her friends with my kids?

but yes you seem like those fucking christian assholes that scream peace love forgiveness at any cost....self respect...self preservation...the limp dick god you pray to....is not mine.....love compassion respect are mine, my god doesn't want me on a cross, been there done that, we are not to sacrifice our lives for someone else...we can if we choose to ,but we are told if we dont we are not evil, not having to is the point, and yes i mock her and most women who have her outlook in today's world, beside the worst villain is a supporting female, females overlook that, so do you, and if i think she is a too bit piece of scum that is wait for it you one brain celled lap dog of morality....my choice, freewill, stop being so sensitive.

any race group or religion(wink) that blow's up to prove a point or physically abuses a woman/men, deserves hell, to me she burnt a cross on his lawn, knocked on his door and " i hate nigger and we was gonna lynch you but i like your car so your safe for now"......thats i what think....oh yeah he feels safe. why?

But when she starts her story and grabs the boys it's all over. Any man I know grabs her wrist and removes her grip from the sensitive parts. Rolls over and gets dressed. THEN allows her to finish the story before he throws her out. How could he believe any of the words coming out of her mouth? How could he ever trust her again? He'd be down at the bank, closing accounts and canceling credit cards so fast it'd make her head spin. No - I liked this story right until she announced the plan. Then it derails. He should have divorced her.

In spite of your blanket condemnation of all women; I know for a fact, that you are incorrect. I believe in God because of the direct conduit I had to His love through my Mother. Thanks to her, I knew what was possible, that beauty is not just skin deep, and found my own soulmate by looking deeper than most young men knew to look. I must caution you though that this is not a one way street by any means. If you cannot be her conduit to God's Love, then there is no way you can reciprocate her love for you, and you, not her will have condemned your marriage. I can tell you this, hate like evil is a choice we make when we reject God's Love. I'll pray for you but we're here for a reason and ultimately, our choices are our own.

Bless You

Thank you for writing such a wonderful story. Katey was able to discover the true "motives" behind her mother's "Plan". She didn't succumb to her mother's devious ideas and lived a full and rewarding life together. Truly as story about a life "well lived".

My wife fought cancer 9.5 years if our 19 years before she passed

I am without my soulmate and have two teenagers to raise alone. To old now to find a third. No one ever said life is fair only that it is. Good story of what really is dysfunctional marriages in these times.

But "Dahling"...

...when a guy does a "pump and dump," he doesn't take half of your money, half of your stuff, and five years of your life with him! I'm not defending the one night stand lifestyle, but it's not as emotionally devastating as a five year no reason out-of-the-blue dump would be, either. (I'm not saying that it's not devastating, just not AS devastating.).

Meh The Plan is simply gals doing what guys do every single day

In my opinion The Plan is little different than what guys do or seek to do every day- pump and dump.

i lost my mom to cancer after her 9 year battle with it .

breast cancer, followed by lymph node cancer in the neck , followed by brain cancer, followed by a return of the brain cancer & suffering from t.i.a / mini strokes .& heart problems .

she left behind a loving husband of 43 years , & 3 children & 2 grandchildren

i struggle to talk to my brother or my sister now,

i can hardly stand to be in the same room as my father ( 67 with heart disease & hbp)

it's 3 years since she passed away & every day i hate us, because we could/should have done more to show her how much we loved her , and made the remaining sands in our hourglass with her count for more .

the pain never stops.

i will never forgive myself.

i will never forgive them.

I don't mind the overall conclusion, but the rate in which his resolve crumbled after his wife told him her plan to him just going 'forget about it' happened way to fast. There should have been more emotion on his part

Really liked it.

First my deep condolences on the loss of your daughter, no words can express the loss of a child.

The story is uplifting the nay sayers always look to the negative, but this was a story of love and commitment. That love can over come outside influences and bear fruit and blossom the way we all wish it would.

Thank you for writing it.

Well Done BUT

On its face very warm and touching and well done. 5* BUT it would have been equally good if he had divorced her because she had destroyed the trust in their marriage. Despite her statements how can you be certain that she won't change her mind and succumb to the pressure of her mother and sister?

I'd like to think she Reconciles with her Dad

This story reminds me a little of the Sisterhood stories. Makes for a good romantic flash story. Five stars in my opinion.

Rest in Peace, Tracy.

You had to be someone very special to leave such a legacy and provoke such an endearing story of love.
