I especially enjoy the narrator's voice which is intuitive but not especially bright. His strength is that he doesn't pretend to be an intellectual or a peer to these women. He plays to his strength, but not in a overly abrasive way. The inherent flaws that will doom their relationship are present, but kept at bay for this installment.
