"I don't know what possessed me, but I started screaming over and over, about how I would tell everyone. And he stopped and laughed. He actually laughed at me and told me it would be really hard to prove that I didn't like this sort of thing when he had pictures, and video of us. I didn't stop screaming, but I knew I couldn't say it was him. His dad was like some big shot DA." Dylan pulled her over into a rough hug. "He escaped when someone across the hall came to check up on why I was screaming like a banshee."

"Its ok Kay Kay." Dylan said petting her head as sobs wracked her body.

"No its not okay. I could have been killed. How was I so stupid? I just can't stand the idea of being someone else's punching bag." He kissed the top of her head and sighed. He didn't realize how much they actually had in common. And the fact that it wasn't a good past they had in common upset him. Why the world wasn't like Leave it to Beaver, or any of the old TV shows upset him. He took a calming breath and held her till the sobs subsided.

"Well we got each other sweet. A couple of fucked up kids and the world as their playground." Kayla giggled and sniffled.

"Yeah D. Always." She stuck out her pinky and he grasped it with his. They sank back into the couch sniffling softer.

"Well this sucks." Dylan said sighing dramatically. "I would have thought tonight for sure was going to be full of fun and games." He turned to Kayla who was smirking. She took a deep breath. "If you start singing you can't always get what you want. I swear I'm locking you out of the house."

"Damn." She started giggling again.

"You still want to watch one of your crazy sci-fi movies?" he asked cringing hoping she'd say no. She heard the plea in his voice and almost thought about making him watch a marathon of Star Wars. At that moment even that movie wouldn't feel right. There where far too many injustices in the world. She and Dylan had seen way more than their share. Then it clicked she knew what would make them feel better.

"Nope, how about Boondock Saints?" He jumped up cheering.

"Oh sweet victory there is a God. And he.." he cast a glance at Kayla " or she loves me." He went to the cabinet and grabbed the movie and started kissing the case. Walking towards the TV singing a fanfare, he placed it in and pressed play. He sat back on the couch and turned to Kayla. "Why this movie?"

She grinned evilly and said. "I'm feeling rather violent." He laughed a rich laugh and at that moment they both knew it would be okay. He reached over and squeezed her shoulder.

"At this moment in time, you are the greatest friend ever to live. EVER." She squinted her eyes at him expecting more. "Aaannd since I love you so much. Grab me some popcorn?" She picked up a couch pillow and threw it at him so quick that he barely had time to react. "What was that for?" he sputtered.

"A, cause I felt like it, and B, cause you are such a lazy ass." Kayla shook her head at him and headed into the kitchen. Grabbing a bag and a couple bowls she rushed back into the other room when she heard the opening credits. As the movie progressed she couldn't help but think. There is no way that a guy like Alec could like a fucked up girl like me.And the feeling of sadness overwhelmed her again, but this time for different reasons.

By the time the movie was over she figured the best way to get out of the funk she was in was to take a hot shower. She grabbed her stuff from her room and headed to the bathroom.

Hopefully the shower can wash away all of today's events, chances are it'll just be really n ice.As the water cascaded over her body she could only imagine Alec's hands caressing her body, and his mouth tweaking and laving at her nipples. The thought enticed a moan to fall from her lips.Oh this just won't do.She thought. Her hands stole across her body one to her breast and the other to her clit. She rolled them between her fingers imagining all the naughty things Alec would do to her. She bit her lip to keep from crying out as her body clenched while the sensations rolled over her. When she felt she could regain her mobility she finished her shower quickly and headed off to her room. She laid down exhausted and closed her eyes, praying that her dreams were better than the thoughts she had while showering.

----

Alec drove home and wished that he lived farther than 5 minutes away. A slew of curses escaped his mouth the entire drive back. He pulled up into his driveway, parked his car, and leaned back into his seat. He gripped the steering wheel so tightly his knuckles started to turn white.

"Mother Fucker." He shouted jerking on the steering wheel as if to rip it off. He sat in the car pounding on the wheel and cursing until he saw a light come on in his house. "What the f--? God damn it Darcy. Do you ever go home?" He mumbled to himself as he got out of the car.

Alec practically kicked his front door in. He slammed the door and walked straight into the kitchen. Tearing through his kitchen frantically he found what he was looking for.

"There is a God." He said casting his eyes up to heaven, clutching a bottle of Jack to his chest. He looked around for a glass and decided against it and placed the bottle to his lips.

"Alec Connor Prescott, you better not be drinking from a bottle like some hobo." A motherly voice, with a hint of a British accent, shot out from behind him. The voice startled him and he almost dropped the bottle.

"Damn it Darcy don't do that." He said when he regained his composure. "And it's my house I can do what I want." He added like a petulant child.

"Don't you swear at me young man." Darcy said coming into the kitchen shaking her finger at him. He cast his head down. He wasn't mad at her, but this day was just too stressful.

"Sorry ma'am."

"Don't you ma'am me it makes me feel old. And besides I got a glass set up for you in the living room. Now are you going to sit down civilized and tell me what happened or are you going to drown your miseries in that bottle?"

"Fine." He said setting down the bottle on the counter. At her stern cough, he sighed dejectedly and replaced the bottle in its proper cabinet. "You'd think I was still 5 the way you treat me."

"You act like you're still 5. Now get to the living room and relax."

He went and sat down on his recliner and grabbed his glass and slammed it down. When she returned into the room he smiled. She looked the same as the first day he met her, minus the grey hair, which he was pretty sure he put there. She was 5'4, smile lines around her eyes, and mouth, and her grey hair tied up in a bun. She'd been his caretaker for so long, he was pretty sure it was just natural for her to want to take care of him now.

"How was dinner with your mother?"

"How'd you know I had dinner with my mother?" she chuckled and shook her head as she took a seat on the couch, with a cup of tea.

"You came in here earlier rushing around and you left like the hounds of hell were chasing after you. And now you're back drinking. It only means dinner with your mother. If it was with both your mother and father, you'd be drinking, swearing, and playing that loud violent music." He laughed a bit self depreciatingly. "So what did she do this time?"

"Oh, the usual. Told me I nearly wrecked the company by not marrying Kristina. And embarrassed a new employee and her friend."

Darcy's head shot up when he said her.

"Her you say? Who is she, and why did it upset you more than usual?"

"I swear Darcy, you should have been a shrink with all your questions and mumbo-jumbo answers." He looked down into his empty glass wishing it would fill up and as if on command Darcy handed him the bottle and sat back down.

"It's not mumbo-jumbo dear, it's the truth and facts. You seem to think anything you don't want to hear is mumbo-jumbo. Dare I remind you of Kristina?"

"Ugh God no." He didn't want to think about Kristina and he didn't want to get into what he thought about Kayla. The emotions he was feeling he couldn't describe and he wanted to keep them to himself.

"So whose this girl?" He groaned.

"You are not going to let up are you?" She shook her head and smiled.

"She's a new employee I hired today. An interior designer in fact to help do some redesigning." Darcy smiled as he continued his monologue. She hadn't been sure he like the chit but with all his unneeded rambling she was pretty sure he did now. He was still talking when she cut in.

"So she is very pretty I take it?" He blushed a bit and refused to answer. "So I take that as a yes. So what does she look like?"

"Jesus you're persistent."

"Yes and you know I wont leave till you tell me, or should I leave, and send Becca here tomorrow to get it out of you?"

"No. Don't do that. Besides wouldn't you want to be surprised when you meet her?" He asked smiling hoping to stall her questions. To his surprise her speculative look cleared from her face and a smile broke out.

"Of course dear." She got up from the chair and patted Alec on the hand. "Sleep well, I'll make sure she comes later." She leaned in and gave him a motherly peck on his forehead then turned to leave. Alec's smile faltered from his face.Did she just say she?

"Darcy don't call Becca. For the love of all that's holy." He called after her too tired to get up and follow. The only response he got was laughter and the shutting of his front door.

Several glasses later Alec found himself stumbling up his steps half-heartedly. He pushed his way into his bedroom kicking his shoes off to the side. He managed to take of his dress shirt before he collapsed to the bed drunk and exhausted.

-----

Alec slapped his face as something rubbed across it. He wasn't about to wake up yet, it was his first Saturday off in months. Yet the itching-tickling sensations continued, and he reluctantly opened his eyes.

"Ahhhh holy sh... fu... . JESUS." Alec scrambled back into his headboard. "F..." he grabbed his head as he smashed his head against it.

"Ha. I'm amazing." The girl holding the feather danced around a bit. "Morning Alec. How's your head? Mum said you were drinking."

"Becca go home and tell your 'mum' she can stay home too." He crawled back under his covers and pulled a pillow over his head. She was talking too loud and too much. He groaned when she pulled the pillow away from his head and started towards the door.

"Don't be that way Alec. Come on. Up up. We've got things to do. Places to go." She turned and looked at him coyly. " People to talk about." She threw clothes at his confused face. "Shower stinky."

For a few minutes all he could do was stare at the door sputtering with the occasion toss in of a swear. He contemplated going back to bed but he doubted that the dream he was just having would invite him back to where he just woke up. Becca would wake him up in the middle of one of the best dreams he ever had.

"Becca." he spat out as he rolled out of bed. He couldn't believe she actually came from

Darcy. Where both her parents where quiet but insistent, she was loud and persistent.

That and her caramel complexion made her look almost nothing like Darcy. He had only

met her father once or twice he seemed like a good guy, that's when he realized that

Darcy was the most amazing person in his life. She brought her husband an African

American schoolteacher to a family dinner some years ago, it startled and appalled his

parents, but it changed his life. He groaned grabbing his head the pulse at his temple throbbing at the thought of his parents. That was one of the reasons his parents sent her to go to Britain to get her education. That and they didn't want him dallying with the help's children, more specifically mixed children.

But of course they had played it off in the limelight. Pretending to do some good charitable deed for an underprivileged girl looking to go to school in Britain. The more he thought about it, the more he questioned how his parents never realized that Becca was more than her colour. He scoffed. How would they have, they didn't even realize I had an arm cast on until the day I was going to get it taken off.

"Fuck." He shuffled into the bathroom more than upset that he was awoken during such a great dream. He wasn't as upset with Becca for waking him up as he was at the fact that the dream was just that, a dream.

As the water splashed against his body he closed his eyes and his dream rushed back to him stirring him to full mast. He shuddered slightly and leaned his head against the cold tiles. How was it possible that someone he just met and didn't even know could affect his body so much? He tried to ignore his thoughts as he scrubbed his body. But as soon as his hand brushed up against his cock, he lost the battle. The most arousing part of his dream swirled around in his mind and he gripped himself tightly, stroking feverishly.

Kayla's shirt had been tossed to the ground. Dressed only in her black pleated skirt and lace bra she walked up to him and pushed him don on the bed. She trailed her fingerers down his chest until she reached his belt loops. She was kneeling next to him and he could see the light wet trails he left from her neck down to the valley between her breasts.

Her face was inches from his and he leaned in to capture her lips with his. Almost immediately her mouth parted allowing his tongue to delve in and taste her sugary sweetness. She shifted until she was seated straddling his hips as their tongues continued to glide against each other. Her thumbs hooked into the loops and her fingertips trailed across his skin above the pants. He shivered and kissed her deeper, she moaned in response. It was all he could take, his hands darted to his button and he let out a little gasp as she slapped his hands away.

"Not yet." She said wagging her finger after she pulled away from the kiss. She smiled before she leaned in to kiss him lightly. Before he could deepen the kiss she released his mouth and trailed kisses down his chin to the junction between his neck and shoulder. She alternated between sucking and biting for a moment before continuing her trail of kisses down his chest. His eyes squeezed tightly shut as she continued her soft assault. Her hands worked furiously to undress him while her mouth neared its destination. His fingers gripped the sheets in anticipation.

When his cock was freed he felt her soft hands caress the full length of him. Her warm breath tickled him as he heard her whisper "beautiful." She darted her tongue across the tip that was oozing precum and his eyes shot open. He pushed up onto his elbows just in time to see her wink and engulf the head in her warm mouth.

Alec's movements turned jerky and he soon tensed. The first spurt had him groaning and the next several had him near writhing moaning "Fuck.... Kayla." Repeatedly till his shudders subsided. He hurried to finish his shower. As he put on his clothes his anger came back. How dare she come in his house and wake him up in the middle of his dream? Embarrassment flooded him immediately. God he hoped he didn't make sounds in his sleep.

Nope, I probably did make noise. He thought as he dragged himself out of the bathroom and headed towards the stairs.God doesn't seem to be on my side right now.

All his thoughts where forgotten as the smell of coffee wafted up to him and he rushed down the stairs.

"There you are." Becca smiled giving him a toothy grin. "I was wondering what was taking you so long, even thought you might have drowned."

He grabbed himself a cup of coffee and sat down next to her by the table. He took a sip

and sighed contentedly. He turned to check the time and Becca grabbed his arm.

"What?"

"Yeah Scruffy. You might not want to do that." she said getting up and walking

backwards slowly towards the living room.

"What? Oh hell no. It better be at least 11:00." He turned to check the clock and its lights

blinked mockingly at him. He watched as the clock turned from :59 to the :00. It just

turned seven. He put down his coffee and pushed out of his chair slowly.

"Scruffy? Remember how much you love me eh?" she asked him backing out of the

room.

"What is wrong with you?" he asked chasing her out of the kitchen and around the living

room. Her laughter filled the room.

"Come on scruffy. Its a beautiful morning." she said in between fits of laughter.

"Don't come on Scruffy to me! You know how much I hate it when you call me Scruffy."

he said laughing a bit as he tackled her and tickled her. "I could have been in bed

sleeping... dreaming."

Her laughter increased and she curled into a ball.

"So you could dream about Kayla?" His face reddened and he moved away from her.

"You know Alec you where having a very, very vivid dream." He didn't think it possible

for his face to heat up the way it did. And her laughter only made it worse.

"Well this just got awkward," he said as he headed back to the kitchen for his coffee.

"Ah don't be that way Scruffy." she said ruffling his hair as he sat down. "The way mum

tells it you're smitten already."

He groaned into his coffee. It was way to early for him to be discussing his feelings. Or

have someone else discuss his feelings for him.

"You know I'm not going to let it go." She smiled as he groaned again louder. "Besides, I

want to see and know about the woman who has brought the great Alec Prescott to his knees."

He laughed a bit and shook his head to get his hair out of his eyes.

"Fine if I tell you what she looks like will you leave me alone?"

"Aw good try, but nope. You are spending all day with me. I haven't seen you in months

and you owe me a day out and most importantly breakfast.. and then lunch."

He chuckled. "Do you always think about food?"

"Mostly but right now I'm thinking about you and this Kayla." His face fell a bit. "You

thought to get me off track with food didn't you?" she laughed and wagged her finger at him. "Not this time Scruffy."

"Do you really have to say Scruffy all the time? Seriously. Don't make me pull out my

name for you."

"Don't you dare. And besides, I haven't seen you in months Scruffy. I'm just making up

for lost time. And Kayla speak and.... action."

"Fine. She was my appointment yesterday. It's funny really. She was running late and I

had headed to the Bristol meeting." Becca swore colourfully. "I agree. Anyways, I forgot

my suitcase upstairs and had to go back and get it. And on the elevator was probably the

most beautiful being I have ever seen. 5'4 maybe, black hair with a few highlights. And

uhh.. curvy?"

"Curvy?" she repeated.

"Curvy... I think that's the word....and a rich beautiful brown colour."

"Ooooohh.. Does my Scruffy have jungle fever?" Becca cooed obnoxiously.

"What?"

"Oh tell me you've heard the song?" he gave her a blank stare. "Oh come on Stevie

Wonder? OH never mind you are so uncultured." She huffed angrily at his confused look.

"Lets go." She grabbed his arm and pulled him towards his front door.

"Go where?" he said shuffling into his shoes.

"Breakfast!" She smiled beaming. "I'm thinking pancakes and omelets."

----

"Get up Kayla." Dylan's voice called her out of her stupor. She yawned and rubbed her eyes. When her eyes finally adjusted to the light she noticed that he was already clean and dressed.

"What time is it?" Kayla asked snuggling deeper into her covers.

"Time for breakfast, and to go get your car." At the word breakfast Kayla jumped out of the covers and headed for the bathroom.

"Nope none of that primping shit Kay. Food. Now."

Kayla wanted to slap him. Of course he would want to leave now. He was the clean and dressed one.

"Unlike some people. I need to shower before I go out into public."
