"Go ahead and sit. If you have to be here and I can't talk you into leaving, we might as well be comfortable." She handed him the tumbler and then sank down gracefully into one of the rose colored love seats scattered around the room.
"Who are you?" He took the tumbler and sat as well, feeling decidedly uncomfortable in his heavy leather biker's boots.
"I could ask the same of you." She looked up at him suddenly, her eyes very direct. "I've fought beside you for five years, Hunter. You've saved my life and I've done the same for you. But I don't even know where you come from or who the hell you are."
Hunter sighed and then drained his glass. "You might want to sit back and relax if you want the entire story. It could take a while."
