With a sigh he traced the gentle curve of her jaw line, smiling when he thought how it firmed and stiffened when she was agitated with something or someone.
Earlier he'd been standing behind her so he wasn't sure if her soul carried the same physical evidence of the attack as her body. Moving the chair beside the bed, he sat down, leaning his head on his hand. He settled in for a long night watching over her.
Really refreshing - I've never read something like this before with Angels & Demons working together & the girl in coma. Very good plot & writing too. Hope you'll be able to finish it one day.
That this story isn't finished. Hopefully Shadow will come back and finish it although probably not after a 2 year hiatus. Ah well, another bites the dust.
Too bad this story was never finished; I find it quite fascinating.
On an irrelevant note, Campbell and Rutledge would make a great TV show. :)

Wow..I have just found this rather enchanting tale. Please say you will be continuing it. The characters are so amazing..the plot rich and full of possibilities. I'd love to read more!
