I blink in some surprise, as my brain attempts to make sense of what my eyes have seen. Jesus ... kissed Judas? And not as a friend either, but as something a bit more intimate. A lover perhaps? Could it be that what I feel, then, is not only right, it is natural? That Jesus feels it too? That my brother and I are not as different as I had thought?
Emboldened now, confidence begins to flow through me as I follow in my brother's shadow, knowing that I will be able to talk to him now, and that he will surely understand.
And I dream of my next lunch with Benjamin.

Anonymousover 5 years agothe possibility of his talk with jesus and shared understanding the possibility that judas was a close friend, we are left to decide and perhaps hope at the pssibilities
