Click hereDown below, George had let him into the car. I could see nothing of the back seat, but the George was in the light of a streetlamp. He leaned forward, as if to start the car, when a hand appeared on his shoulder. George looked up, clearly into the mirror. After a moment, he slowly nodded. There was another pause, and he nodded again. Then they drove away.

fanfareover 9 years agopr, I not only enjoy your imaginative crafting of this story but also how deeply you are revealing your characters and developing their relationship. And your use of introspection in the thought quotes contrast well with the dialogue.
The coment about 'People Bags'? (I would never serve restaurant food to my dogs!) My wife would also insist on putting the excess food in the container herself. She did not trust a busy staff to be as meticulous about it (okay, anal!) as she was.

WistfulSeniorabout 11 years agoI just love your writing style. It is just not possible to stop reading until I reach the end of each chapter, and even then I crave more. Time does not seem to exist while reading this tale. The way you move back and forth from her and him with such ease is wonderful. In fact, while reading both chapters, I found the analogy of an intense tennis match with long volleys to be quite appropo. The movement from one point of view to the other is much like the graceful movement from player to player as they move the ball across the net. I do so hope this story continues for some time to come. It has quickly taken over the top of my watch list for recurring stories on Literotica.
