She wondered where he had come from, what his home kingdom looked like and how many giants lived out there in the desert. But she could ask him all that later.

The next morning, Magda left her cave, her skin goosebumping as she stood naked in the cold air. Her body felt more sensitive, her nipples stiffening in the breeze, shivers running up her. The hard dawn light glinted on the frost that caked the palaces where her father had once held court.
'You should return there,' said the giant behind her. He wrapped his arms around her and she felt his nakedness against her back.
'It is too lonely,' she replied.
He held her closer. 'You will not be alone.'
