Latinos in Formation
Now that I have your attention, we well get to the point. Before, this country we all call the United States of America, Indians & Blacks occupied this north continent, including Canada and South America.
The truth is, Indians were, murdered for land and mineral greed or whatever self-justification at that time, Mexicans(Latinos) (Hispanics) (a saturation mixture of both Indian & Europeans ) pawned from the Europeans did, in fact coexists with the Indians and did share some of the same faith.
As the arrival of more Caucasians form Europe with their forced human slave exploits, indigenous((Latinos) (Hispanics) saturation mixture of both Indian & Europeans) people were more easily tolerated, than Blacks and the Chinese. One reason was the Europeans looked, more familiar like, the (saturation mixture of both Indian & Europeans) indigenous, at that time and the fact that blacks could work harder & longer made exploitation more attractive as the nonhuman justifications was aggressively purported.
The cowboy image was spawned from the (gaucho wrangler a mixture of Indian/Black/Mexican) The truth is, a third of all cowboys were black, a third were Mexican & the other third were everyone else.
Non indigenous people, were extremely exploited, killed and degraded, Hispanics did not suffer the same genocide. After centuries of attempted, North American, assimilation's and de assimilation, forced segregation, exclusionist and republic filibusters of basic human rights, Hispanics, not like the Blacks and Indians, didn't seem to be on the same path. Centuries of deliberated and intentional, lawmaking & law breaking exclusionist, have failed the very same oppression tactics of that of blacks.
Fast forwarding to 2009, if you would believe in, media Rhetoric, false propaganda of Hispanics and scare tactics, you could believe that, Hispanics are responsible for the rise in, health care, auto insurance, crime rates, drugs, and a dozen other assorted damages to this country. They attempt to pit one group against another for maniacal self interest, reason being, divide and attempt to conquer. Example, Blacks against Hispanics comparisons, the same history rational was attempted just before the civil war using Blacks to war against the Indians.
For decades, this country has been more, European, Immigration, friendly. The always-political policy makers could not stop the, influx of so many Latinos who make way to, south of the United States border daily. Hispanics have fought, bled, died, and help build this so called great country, like everyone else.
Except for the Indians and the Mexicans & the once indigenous blacks, who truly have a deeper heritage than anyone here & now, then logically speaking, we all are from some other place.
The true facts are, Blacks were never immigrants, they were already in America & the rest were brought here as prisoners.
Mexicans, Latinos) (Hispanics) (saturation mixture of both Indian & Europeans) were already here in America an forced south for land & other exploitations.
The American Indians (the true indigenous), murdered & forced on barren concentration camps on worthless lands.
Facts are, their were Indians & blacks already her before the arrival of any Europeans. If you are of the opinion of, go back to Africa or go back to Mexico or what ever your inconsequential irrational mentality conceits, then we should all go back, to Africa, where we all ultimately, originally came from.
To this day, there are some 320 Million people living the united States, Blacks are a fraction of the U.S. Population, Mexicans, (Latinos) (Hispanics) are even more, making both groups the majority, so on and so on.
With the preponderance of the once was minority of the United States population being both Mexicans, (Latinos) (Hispanics) & Blacks.
United States of America was rifled (founded/grabbed/stolen/ through pain suffrage & death.
For purely self interests, millions & millions & millions of minorities were murdered, suffered & grossly degraded & exploited for hundreds & hundreds & hundreds of years in United States. With intentional & maniacal mechanisms in subplots, subsurface collusion, covert & overt attempted physical, spiritual & inspirational Genocide.
Only when it becomes irretrievably inconvenient to the self interest, is their a self interested dilemma of purported national constellations.
The premise to control & govern in any society must be with ability to truly control & govern.
The Europeans have never been able to control & govern themselves, civil wars, civil strife, revolutions, self deadly plagues, colonialist mumbo jumbo.
United States mirrors, the same crooked path, as we tend to control & govern only the selected.
With the influx of so many Mexicans, (Latinos) (Hispanics) from south of United States borders, growing uncertainty within the Caucasian community is mounting & becoming more & more outwardly hostile.
We cannot competently control & govern ourselves, As we only have a snowballs chance to competently control & govern others.
If you were to go to any prison or penitently in this country looking for justice, what you will always find is Just-Us.
This country is calculated on a path to enviably, become a place where, liberty and justice might finally & truly be for us all.

RHinSCover 13 years agoLets try another scenario...The Mexican drug lords kill most of the Mexican population. The U.S. kills the Mexican drug lords. The U.S. takes over the land. Then we would have a place for all of the illegals, with a righteous fence of course. Author, they are working on the first part of this scenario now. I failed to mention earlier that Latinos are not the only ones coming across the border. They are from all over the world. We need to defend ourselves. What is it going to take before we do? We will never reach the utopian society that the Author suggests. Human beings are not capable of it.

Anonymousover 13 years agoNoticed that the pen name sounds just a little bit too much like Ever Open Borders and quite assumed that it would be some type of farce or satirical. Not to be.
If the Ph.d after the name was granted anywhere in the U.S., I am certain now that your education was a waste of my money and yours. Spelling was atrocious and grammar just a touch better. The slightly skewed history lesson contained far too few facts, with far too much emphasis on "They were here first".
Anonymousover 13 years agoOne of the most racist essays i've ever read- full of distorsions, exaggerations and down right lies. History has been distorted in favour of 'white' history in the past but also note that some black and latino groups have a real chip on their shoulder about past injustices. To put it simply- the law is the law and on immigration it is just not enforced. Most rational people should not object to controlled immigration but also recognise that Mexico is one of the most corrupt countries on Earth and is glad to export its people-especially the more troublesome ones.

RHinSCover 13 years agoWhere do you get these facts? As someone else stated, it was probably a Chicano studies class. Some of your facts are falsehoods. Right or wrong a war was fought over the land. The U.S. is one of the few nations that will not defend it's borders. You fail to mention people who are in this country illegally, or was that on purpose. At the present rate they will reclaim the land with little or no resistance. That thought makes the author smile. You say it is just rhetoric that they add to the current problems. That is a proven fact, it is also common sense. Tons of drugs are transported over broken fences every day and are delivered to Latino gangs across the country. Things are so bad that they do not want us to know. The problem grows daily, so does their power. We have a major problem. People wait for years to come to this country legally, it is extremely unfair that others can just walk in, especially if what they are doing is illegal by definition. I volunteer to fight in the next war with Mexico, Fuck em.'
Anonymousover 13 years agoProof that higher education has just become a place for hate mongering; just as long as the people you hate have white skin. I suppose it's ok to discount all the "white" immigrants because they don't really matter because they were able to assimilate? This kind of alternate history is sick and repugnant. If you call yourself Spanish, well that's in Europe, making you European. The Spanish were the first to import slaves (Africans aren't native to the america's just like Europeans aren't) to the America's and enslave and kill native peoples. Mr. Borders you are a racist. I don't blame you for that. Your parents probably were and a lot of your friends. I, a caucasian male, was like that too. I ended up going into the Army and having my eyes opened to the fact I was racist. I made some friends, decided to grow up and be a better man. maybe you should too.
Anonymousover 13 years agoSad little men regurgitate the nonsense they were exposed to in a Chicano Studies class. Try a more well rounded exposure to the real history of the American Experiment. Try experiencing new feelings of self worth based on accomplishments and one day you may graduate to gratitude. To all those enamored with Mexico, pick up a newspaper! While far from perfect The United States of America is still the best hope for the individual with drive to experience the best possible life on this planet.
Anonymousover 13 years agoTo the prior commenters: Using a commonplace "jingle" is often used when bringing scholarly material to a public audience. It is a quick and memorable way to bring something recognizable (or something recognizable with a comedic or wry twist) to the table to convey an idea in a way that many will understand, think on, and remember. While Mr. Everett's does come across as juvenile and poorly executed, it is not an act that is in itself problematic or uncommon.
And no, not everything he mentioned is false. Embellished a bit, rounded out and obviously hazy perhaps because of the time between learning about it and writing this piece, perhaps because the author did not really pay attention as well as he should have, but still not altogether wrong.
To Mr. Everett: I am surprised that you did not receive more instruction in proper scholarly essay format and style on your way to receiving a Ph.D. The sheer number of commas in the piece was enough to nearly convince me to not read it. And quite honestly, while the message is in a way admirable, it could have been executed so much better. You do not support your information, you draw many generalizations and flesh out many exaggerations, and your numbers are waaaaay off. For the sake of your alma mater, your reputation, the message you're trying to get across, and all of our sanities, you need to thoroughly review, edit, reorganize, supplement, and rewrite this essay.
This would never get through a graduate course with a passing grade.
